The $500.00 Shopping Spree Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") is opened to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia age 18 and older at time of entry. Employees of the MJM Designer Shoes (the "Sponsor"), its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, retailers, distributors, advertising and promotion agencies and any other individual or company involved in the development or execution of the Sweepstakes, and members of their immediate families (parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses) of same households, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Sweepstakes governed by U.S. law. Void where prohibited by law.

Sweepstakes begins at 4:00 AM Eastern Time ("ET") on 9/3/08 and ends at 11:59 PM (ET) on 12/30/08 ("Sweepstakes Entry Period").

To enter, visit www.mjmsweeps.com and follow all online entry instructions to complete and submit the online entry form so it is received during the Sweepstakes Entry Period. Limit: One entry per e-mail address and/or per person throughout the entire Sweepstakes Entry Period. In the event multiple entries are received by one person and/or one e-mail address, only the first entry will be accepted for entire Sweepstakes Entry Period. In the eventuality of a dispute as to any online entry, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. The "authorized account holder" is the natural person assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. Proof of sending or submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. Entrants subject to all notices posted at www.mjmsweeps.com, including but not limited to privacy policy. Incomplete or illegible entries are not eligible. The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, damaged, or misdirected entries. Neither Sponsor nor independent judging organization assumes responsibility for third parties' failure to act in accordance with Sponsor's instructions pertaining to the implementation of the Sweepstakes. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged. No mechanical reproductions permitted. All entries become the Sponsor's property and will not be returned. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, damaged, illegible, inaccurate, or misdirected entries.

Prize: A $500 Shopping Spree (Retail Value: $500 each). Prize will be awarded as a Gift Card ("Gift Card"). The Gift Card is only redeemable for purchases made at MJM Designer Shoes locations. Gift Card cannot be redeemed for the purchase of gift cards or as an adjustment to prior purchases. The Gift Card may not be returned, redeemed for cash or used as payment on to a MJM Designer Shoes credit card account or any other credit card account. No credit or cash given for unused portion after Gift Card expires. Gift Card will not be replaced if lost or stolen. Prize is guaranteed to be awarded. Odds of winning depend on total number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Entry Period.

Potential winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Entry Period. Random drawing will be conducted on or about 1/15/09 by an independent judging organization whose decision is final and binding. Potential winner will be notified via e-mail and/or US mail. If potential winner's mailing address is not available, he/she will be notified via email. Three attempts will be made to contact the potential winner within a 7 day period. If the potential winner fails to respond within the 7 day period, or if the e-mail attempt is consistently returned as undeliverable, the potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected. (Entrants are responsible for notifying Sponsor of changes in e-mail addresses.) When the potential winner's mailing address has been obtained, he/she will be notified by mail and may be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability and a Publicity Release ("Affidavit/Release") which must be notarized and returned within 10 days of date printed on notification or an alternate winner will be selected. Prepaid overnight mailing envelope will be provided to potential winner. If a winner is otherwise eligible under these Official Rules, but is nevertheless deemed a minor in his or her state of primary residence, the prize will be awarded in the name of winner's parent or legal guardian who will be required to execute and return Affidavit/Release on minor's behalf. If Affidavit/Release is returned as undeliverable or if a winner cannot accept or receive the Prize for any reason, or he/she is not in compliance with these Official Rules, the corresponding Prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsor's discretion, awarded to an alternate winner in a separate random drawing. Prize is not redeemable for cash and is non-assignable or transferable. No substitutions are permitted except by Sponsor who reserves the right to substitute Prize with one of equal or greater value. Potential winner is responsible for all federal, state, local and income taxes associated with winning his/her respective prize. Except where prohibited by law, entry and acceptance of prize constitutes permission to use winner's name, prize won, hometown and likeness for advertising and publicity including online posting without additional compensation.

Entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges and the Sponsor, and release the Sponsor, its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, retailers, distributors, advertising and promotion agencies and any other individual or company involved in the development or execution of the Sweepstakes, as well as the employees, officers, directors and agents of each, from all claims and liability relating to their participation, acceptance, use, misuse of prize. Winner assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused, by participation in this Sweepstakes or use or redemption of the prize. The Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Sweepstakes or in the announcement of prize.

The Sponsor is not responsible for: (i) error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or any combination thereof; or (ii) any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in the Sweepstakes. By participating in the Sweepstakes, you (i) agree to be bound by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and (ii) agree to be bound by the decisions of Sponsor and the independent judging organization, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to: (i) permanently disqualify from any sweepstakes it sponsors any person it believes has intentionally violated these Official Rules; and (ii) withdraw or cancel the Sweepstakes if it becomes technically corrupted, (including if a computer virus or system malfunction inalterably impairs its ability to conduct the Sweepstakes), and to select the winner from among all eligible entries received prior to withdrawal.
